the Vero business, those things we value and how we
deliver this to our stakeholders. Vero Insurance New
Zealand is made up of a number of specialist insurance
and risk management businesses servicing both businesses
and individuals.
As a member of the Promina Group we are part of one of
Australasia’s leading insurance and financial groups
(see History). The Vero Insurance New Zealand Group
trades under a number of leading brands such as Vero,
Vero Marine, Vero Liability, Vero CIS, Vero Specialist
Risks, Vero Accident & Health, Axiom, Mariner,
Comprehensive Travel and Autosure. Vero also has a joint
venture with the New Zealand Automobile Association,
branded as AA Insurance.
In 2004, Vero were awarded the Achievement Award -
Silver Level from the New Zealand Business Excellence
Foundation, in recognition of a number of strengths,
including our underwriting processes, focus on
continuous improvement and clear vision to be a World
Class provider of general insurance. For three years
running, (2002, 2003 and 2004) Vero was voted Insurer of
the Year by the members of the Insurance Brokers
Association of New Zealand (IBANZ), New Zealand's
leading broker organisation. In recognition of our
continued focus to be a 'Great Place to Work', Vero has
also ranked within the top five 'Large Workplaces' in
Unlimited Magazine's 'Best Places to Work' survey for
2004 and 2005.
Our name is the Latin word which summarises the values
our business lives by and delivers on. |
