NAC Insurance is an exciting
development in the way motor insurance is provided to
New Zealanders. They are motor insurance specialists and
have the skills and expertise to insure almost any motor
vehicle risk.
Their Wheels policy can be purchased as either "full
comprehensive" cover or "Third Party Only" Cover. The
full comprehensive cover includes, theft, accident,
fire, window, and third party damage, whilst Third Party
covers only damage occurring to someone else's property.
Please be aware that NAC Insurance does not currently
sell a Third Party, Fire and Theft policy.
In order to purchase full comprehensive cover, your
vehicle should ideally be worth more than $3000. You
must also be legally permitted to drive on New Zealand
roads and not be driving outside any licence
restrictions.
The following types of vehicles and situations are ideal
for a Wheels policy;
Modified vehicles such as lowered or engine
modifications
Rally Cars (although not covered whilst racing)
High value accessories such as Mags and stereo equipment
Hot Rods
Classic Cars
High Value vehicles (eg $100,000 plus)
